Please note, on Thursday, surgery doors are closed at 13:00 and only emergency services are provided by the duty doctor until 18:30. Otherwise, Face to face consultations are available at all times during Surgery opening hours.

Mr Rahman, HCA, provides daily healthcare assistance 9.30am – 1.30pm, 2.30 – 6.00pm at Ashburnham Rd surgery (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) and 9.30am-1.00pm (Thursday).

Out of hours services

Outside normal surgery hours, you can still phone your GP practice, but you’ll usually be re-directed to an Out of Hours service. HUC provides GP Out of Hours cover to the population of Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Peterborough and Luton & Bedfordshire. The service operates from 6.30pm to 8am on weekdays, and continuously from 6.30pm on a Friday evening to 8am on a Monday morning. HUC also covers Bank Holidays and provides a service for patients with urgent medical needs that cannot wait until their GP practice is next open. To access the service, all patients should phone 111.
